Round table discussion "Gender-based violence in situation of military conflict in the east of Ukraine: challenges and tools of counteraction" held in Luhansk region
Local official, representatives of civic and charitable organizations discussed the increase in cases of violence against women and girls in eastern Ukraine resulting from the armed conflict. The participants also discussed the possible mechanisms of combatting and prevention of such violence. The roundtable was organized by the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine, ICF "Ukrainian Women's Fund", Department of Family and Youth of Luhansk Regional State Administration.
