Korosten, located in approximately 70 kilometres from the Belarusian border, was subjected to constant fire at the beginning of the full-scale war. Residential areas of the city were hit by rockets several times.

According to Alina Pashinska, locals required psychological support. When UNFPA created a social and psychological assistance mobile team in the city last year, Alina became its specialist and began doing what she does best —helping others.

Now, mobile teams provide reliable support to survivors of both domestic and war-related violence.
