Kharkiv is a city in the east of Ukraine that is constantly under fire from Russian military.

Despite the horrors of war and destruction, UNFPA's Psychosocial support mobile team continues to work in the city to help survivors of gender-based violence.

Since September 2022, the mobile team has provided more than 5,000 consultations and continues to help those in need.

"My husband despised me, devalued me, and called me rude names in front of my child. There was a case when my husband hit me on the head. It was very painful, unpleasant. I found the phone number of a mobile team on the Internet. The team arrived and took me and my child to the crisis room. Always ask for help, don't be silent," said a woman from Kharkiv who recived help from Mobile team and managed to break the circle of violence.

"It is very important for me to work in the mobile team because it is an opportunity to help people and the city where I live," says Olena Kuznetsova, a psychologist of the Mobile team. How does the Mobile team work in Kharkiv and how does it find the strength to help others? Watch the video.
