You will—
- Collaborate with the program team and senior management to support the effective implementation, financial monitoring, and reporting of country programs and projects.
- Ensure efficient management of financial resources, compliance with UNFPA regulations, and timely reporting, while addressing risks and implementing audit recommendations.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery by the operations team.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges, suggesting alternative solutions as needed.
- Manage financial, administrative, ICT, logistics, and travel services, while optimizing internal processes.
- Ensure logistics and administrative support for country program implementation.
- Support national execution of UNFPA activities, focusing on financial management and assurance activities.
- Oversee administrative processes, ensuring timely provision of goods and services.
- Supervise the operations team and outsourced personnel.
- Participate in inter-agency meetings, ensuring UNFPA interests are reflected in shared services, financial arrangements, and security.
- Ensure continuous communication between the country office, Regional Office, and HQ.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
Advanced degree in business administration, public administration, finance, accounting, social science or a related discipline.
Knowledge and Experience:
● Minimum of two years of relevant experience in administration or finance, , .
● Progressively responsible experience in operations with UN or International NGO is desirable.
● Ability to supervise and lead.
● Ability to work in a multicultural environment, strong inter-personal, coordination and communications skills. Ability to build effective relationships.
● High integrity standards, strong capacity for sound judgement and capability to work with limited supervision.
● Proficiency in current office software applications, ERP and corporate ICT systems.
