16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence

A staggering one in three women have experienced physical or sexual violence in their lifetime – a pandemic of global proportions. In some places in the world it is even higher with some 70% of women and girls reporting they have experienced violence. This violence – ranging from sexual, physical, psychological, emotional and economic – can happen at home, in public, during war, and in peace time.

This year more than 25 partners, including Parliament, government institutions, local authorities, women’s groups, civil society organizations international organizations and donors joined efforts for the Campaign across the whole country!
