UNFPA held a second round of the Children Picture Contest for Zakarpattya region and decided on its winners.
1st place: Dariya Travnytska, 7 (11)-B1 grade, Uzhgorod Gymnasium
2nd place: Maria Tovt, Tyachivskyi professional lyceum, Tyachivskyi district
3rd place: Karolina Geiche, 7 grade, Dyulyanska school of I-II levels, Vynodradivskyi district
Names of the 12 authors whose works are selected for the design of the UNFPA 2014 calendar will be announced separately.
The Children Picture Contest started at the beginning of September and was held among students of 7-11 grades of secondary, vocational schools and extracurricular educational institutions, boarding schools, orphanages, gymnasiums of Zakarpattya region.
The main objective of the Contest was to promote children’s and adolescent creativity, attracting the widest possible range of young people for active creative work and promote healthy lifestyles among them.
