The UNFPA Representative in Ukraine participated in a handover ceremony of a set of hysteroscopy equipment to the Kirovograd Regional Centre of Family Planning and Reproductive Health.
The health care facilities in Kirovograd now have two sets of hysteroscopic equipment. The UNFPA's donation will contribute to improving women's health and will help prevent various uterine disorders through better diagnostics.
Meetings were also held with oblast administration (health, education, youth, gender issues) to discuss the prospects of collaboration with UNFPA in the region.
