On September 25, an exhibition of children's paintings "Ukraine without Domestic Violence" was opened at the Gulliver shopping center in Kyiv. The exhibition will run until October 6.

The exhibition features paintings by children aged 10 to 17. The participants were offered to choose one of four themes for their paintings: "I am against abuse", "Happy family against evil", "Love conquers fear" and "Magic saves the world from cruelty". The best works of the contest participants are presented in the exhibition "Ukraine without Domestic Violence" on the 2nd floor of the Gulliver shopping center in Kyiv. The exhibition will showcase the unique vision of children in a country where domestic violence has no place.

"The level of domestic violence in Ukraine is increasing due to various factors. At UNFPA, we are committed to providing all survivors of gender-based and domestic violence with quality, free and confidential assistance so that survivors can rebuild their lives and break the cycle of violence. With this exhibition, we are drawing attention to the impact of domestic violence on families and offering accessible, survivor-centered assistance," said UNFPA Deputy Representative in Ukraine Pavlo Zamostian.

The organizers draw attention to the problem of domestic violence and its consequences, which affect the lives of many Ukrainian families, and emphasize the need to create a culture of safety, trust and care. They also talk about high-quality and free services to help survivors of domestic violence.

Various activities are available during the exhibition, including drawing and yoga workshops and a lecture with qualified psychologists.

"We, at Gulliver shopping mall, are happy to support such relevant initiatives by broadcasting important messages to our visitors. Therefore, we invite everyone to a series of events from UNFPA partners aimed at helping and supporting, as well as creating conditions for safety where it should be by default - in families," added Kateryna Zhurakivska, Marketing Director of the mall.

On the day of the exhibition's grand opening, the central atrium of the Gulliver shopping center hosted a conversation with the hosts of the "Ebaut" YouTube show, Kateryna Motrych, Nata Avdeeva, and Yaroslava Kravchenko, entitled "Domestic Violence (In)Visible." Also, during the two weeks of the exhibition, there will be thematic lectures by psychologists. The current lecture schedule can be found on the social media pages of UNFPA and Gulliver shopping center. All events and activities within the exhibition are free of charge.

The exhibition "Ukraine without Domestic Violence" is an important platform for maintaining and promoting a peaceful atmosphere and fostering a sense of safety and care in society.

The exhibition is organized by UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, with the support of the Government of the United States Government (USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance).
