The Second All-Ukrainian Hackathon for teachers is held in Ivano-Frankivsk

The Second All-Ukrainian Hackathon "STEM: Gender-Sensitive Approach to School Education" was held.

Hackathon for teachers "STEM: Gender-Sensitive Approach to School Education", organized by the Center for the Corporate Social Responsibility Development (CSR) jointly with the UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, organized within the framework of the #GirlsSTEM initiative took place in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.

The Hackathon partners were the State Scientific Institution "Institute for the Education Content Modernization", JSC "Prykarpattyaoblenergo", "Nova Energiya" Scientific Campus, IT Integrator.

 46 teachers from 20 regions of Ukraine participated in the Hackathon. During two busy days, participants dismantled gender stereotypes in education, explored where they are rooted and how to deal with them.

During Hackathon, all participants had the opportunity to visit:

Designer Thinking Session by Andriy Hrabchuk, representative of JSC "Prykarpattyaoblenergo", where teachers learned step-by-step project development: problem solving, target audience identification, idea generation, work with solutions, prototype creation and project presentation.
