CSR Ukraine, an expert organization Center for CSR Development together with UNFPA launched a new Programme #HealthyChallenge2020. The Programme partners are the Center for Public Health of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. The Programme was joined by active young people from 46 pre-higher and vocational and technical education institutions from different areas of Ukraine.
Healthy Challenge is an all-Ukrainian Programme aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle among young people, which has been implemented since 2019 and has already involved in its activities more than 20 education institutions and 10,000 young people in different regions of Ukraine. The purpose of the Programme is to promote a healthy lifestyle during quarantine introduced due to the spread of COVID-19.
The Healthy Challenge was opened on November 16, and the organizers presented the details of the new Programme, which will involve institutions in the competition of activities in three thematic weeks: mental health, prevention of infectious diseases, physical health. During the event, experts of the Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine held a webinar on the topic of the first week - Mental Health.
The winners of the Programme will be three institutions showing the best results. They will receive mini-grants in the amount of UAH 35,000 for the development of a healthy lifestyle movement.
The Programme will last until December 7.
