Kyiv hosted the first workshop for HR companies that signed the Declaration

28 February 2020

At the end of last year, together with our partners, we initiated the creation of the first Corporate Alliance in Ukraine, which is stepping up its efforts to achieve gender equality and prevent domestic violence. The first 12 companies and 2 business communities have already signed the Declaration for Gender Equality and Prevention of Domestic Violence.

HR specialists from EY Ukraine, StarLightMedia, IT-Integrator, Corteva Agriscience, Teva Ukraine, Energoatom, Danone Ukraine, School of Leadership UCU, L'Oréal Ukraine, and Kernel received in-depth training based on the 4B model (a Ukrainian acronym for визнати — відповісти — встановити ефективні партнерства — виміряти): recognizing - responding - establishing effective partnerships - measuring.

Together with the experts, they learned to implement gender-sensitive approaches in the work of companies, family-friendly policies, create conditions for decent work and equal employment, develop and promote the cooperation to advocate women's empowerment, gender equality and zero tolerance for domestic violence.
