The Youth Wellbeing Index is a multi-factor assessment tool developed by the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine in conjunction with experts of the M.V. Ptoukha Institute for Demography and Social Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (IDSS) and with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

It is a platform for mobilizing young people aimed to involve them in decision-making, to make municipal policy clear to them, so that young people feel part of municipal governance.

The Youth Wellbeing Index is a comprehensive index that covers 49 indicators and allows to assess the level of youth welfare in cities by the following indicators:

• Education

• Health

• Economic opportunities

• Participation in political life

• Participation in public life

• Information and communication technology

• Security and safety.

In order to take part in determining the Kherson Youth Wellbeing Index, it is necessary to participate in a survey on the platform:

For participation in the survey, each person aged 14 to 35 shall receive points that can be exchanged for bonuses from local Project partners (discounts on goods or services, gifts). The number of points obtained can be increased by inviting friends to participate in the survey via a referral link.
