Arthur, the main character of our story, has previously experienced conflicts with his spouse and also wants to spend quality time with his children. He, together with his wife and kids, visited TatoHub in Vinnytsia to receive professional psychological counseling and spend prime leisure time.

TatoHub – is a club for dads, a community for the spread of conscious parenting, who conduct individual and group psychological counseling and family entertainment. The project emphasizes the importance of partnership parenting when both spouses are equal and, accordingly, raise children together.

Arthur mentioned that for the first time his wife saw the announcement on social media and offered to have fun with the children. He claims that there is a different atmosphere for communication with children. “Because usually at home there are completely different problems. There is cooking and cleaning or something like that,” adds Arthur.

At TatoHub, a psychologist worked with the parents. During the work, our hero received a lot of useful advice, which he is already trying to put into practice.

I learned a lot of new behaviors in my relationship with my kids and wife. I try to smooth out certain conflict situations. Scandals are no longer as serious as they have been. My children are 1.5 years apart, and they compete with each other very actively. Now I'm better at extinguishing and leveling such conflicts, - Arthur shares his experience.

Psychologist Anatolii Brun, who worked with Arthur at TatoHub.Vinnytsia, recalls that the man asked about the amount of time he needed to spend with his children. "And I explained to him that this time should not be too much, but it should be regular," Anatolii advised. Fathers' involvement in their children's upbringing and leisure activities is of great importance for their future, building strong family ties, and giving the child a sense of security and support. Healthy relationships with fathers have a positive impact on children's self-esteem and serve as role models too.

During consultations and seminars, the psychologist provides constructive advice on a variety of issues related to parenting, couple relationships, emotional management, and stress management. Thanks to this expert approach, TatoHub fosters a culture of conscious fatherhood and ensures the comprehensive development of the child.

In addition to psychological consultations, parents have the opportunity to diversify their time with their children and to participate in interesting activities together. For example, Artur says that they had the opportunity to prepare coconut milk on their own. "We split the coconut, made coconut shavings ourselves. It was fun," the man recalls. In addition, children and their fathers made and painted Christmas gingerbread houses with icing.

An equally important part of visiting TatoHub is the experience of communicating with other people, including other fathers, learning about their experiences and getting advice. This community, along with psychological counseling, helps you learn important techniques for socialization with your children and your wife.

"I am grateful for new acquaintances with other fathers. Discussions with other people, even those of different ages, about such painful topics are relevant: being a father, raising children, teenagers, and the relationship between husband and wife. It was a great time," our hero says with satisfaction.

The project TatoHub.Vinnytsia was initiated in the framework of the “EU 4 Gender Equality: Together against gender stereotypes and gender-based violence" programme, funded by the European Union, implemented jointly by UN Women and UNFPA.
