A training session was held for educators-scientists within the framework of the "Ambassadors of Science" project!
Educators improved their understanding of gender-sensitive popularization of science and the importance of simplifying myths about it during training with certified experts. Also, they improved their skills in presenting themselves and their research.
In addition, the program of the project consists of the following:
• interactive gender-sensitive public talking for youth audiences (during April);
• evening of stories "Frankly about science" in the format of storytelling (May 12)
At the end of the project, participants will have access to unique information - a guide with life hacks for public speaking in the form of short videos and a manual, which will contain helpful materials on gender-sensitive popularization of science among representatives of STEAM education.
The project "Ambassadors of science" is implemented by Lviv Open Lab within the framework of the "Springboard to equality" project, which UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, in partnership with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, with the financial support of the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine implements.
