All-Ukrainian Online Hackathon: Hack4Good. Engaging Girls in Technology is a three-day online event for students aged 16-24, aimed at improving girls’ knowledge of gender equality and developing team projects to encourage schoolgirls to choose STEM degrees.

The hackathon is organised by the Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility (STEM Girls) and the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) as part of the Springboard to Equality project with financial support from the Government of Sweden and with the assistance of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.

The hackathon will take place online via ZOOM on 3-5 November 2021. We invite girls aged 16 to 24 who are students of higher educational institutions and vocational schools in STEM or any other field and are interested in STEM fields and motivated to participate. 

The purpose of the hackathon is to develop team projects to encourage schoolgirls to choose STEM degrees, increase girls’ knowledge of gender equality and teach them design thinking. The winners will receive valuable prizes from the organisers and partners of the event.
