One of UNFPA's priority tasks is providing assistance to women and girls in the areas of Ukraine most affected by the war. Care and support are extremely important during this difficult time.

Since the beginning of the year, more than 3 000 dignity kits have been distributed by social service centers of the Kharkiv region, by "Vilna" women-friendly spaces in Kharkiv, Sumy, and Odesa, as well as by survivor relief centres.

Each dignity kit contains essential items to ensure hygiene and comfort. Women and girls who received dignity kits and psychological assistance told how important it was for them to feel needed in a difficult moment.

UNFPA continues to provide support to all those in need. We are grateful to the Governments of Australia, Iceland, Norway, Ireland and CERF for their support. We do everything we can to help people preserve their dignity and continue to live a full life even in the conditions of war.
