An essential requirement for the operation of the Inclusive Barrier-Free Gynaecological Surgery Room is the ability to receive patients around the clock, as explained by the Acting Director of the City Clinical Hospital in Sloviansk, Valentina Ivanivna Galushchenko. This posed some challenges, as with the onset of the full-scale war, the maternity hospital within the hospital closed due to a lack of specialists who had to flee the city.

The consultations are confidential, and entirely free of charge. Patients do not need to purchase any materials; UNFPA provide these for the doctors.

According to Lydia Viktorivna, the gynecological chair in this clinic is one of the best in Sloviansk, even better than what's available in the maternity hospital. The chair is equipped with mechanisms that adjust its size to fit the patient's height, it has adjustable head and footrests, a powerful examination lamp, and a nearby touch-sensitive device for hand disinfection. All of these features are designed to facilitate quick and comfortable patient examinations.
