What is the shelter for survivors of domestic violence?

Shelters are made for women who need a safe place to get out of relationships where they suffer from violence. You can stay in the shelter for six months. During this time, you can get all the necessary legal and psychological assistance, find a job and housing. The location of the shelters is hidden; you can get there at the direction of the relevant services. See more about what the shelter looks like and what services it provides in our video.

On April 2021, 11 shelters for victims of domestic violence have been opened in Ukraine under the #UNFPAUkraine program with the support of the British Embassy, the Canadian Embassy in Ukraine and the Estonian Embassy in Ukraine.
