The Aurora online platform provides specialized psychotherapeutic support to individuals who have experienced violence, including conflict-related sexual violence.
The aim of Aurora is to ensure that survivors of violence have access to high-quality remote support, including in territories temporarily not under Ukrainian government control, as well as abroad.
On the platform, survivors can receive comprehensive support from psychotherapists with years of experience and certification to help them overcome traumatic experiences, restore emotional balance, and find inner resources to rebuild their lives.
Legal consultations are also available, and the platform’s case manager can assist you in navigating the available services, taking into account your specific requests and individual needs. If you have requests not related to psychotherapeutic support, the specialists at Aurora can recommend and refer you to other reliable services, for example, for issues related to sexual and reproductive health or other urgent needs.
On the Aurora online platform, services are provided:
- Comprehensively: Addressing all aspects of your situation.
- Free of charge: All services are provided at no cost.
- Anonymously: You don’t need to share your real name or location.
- Confidentially: The content of your conversation with the specialist will remain exclusively between you.
Anyone who has experienced violence, regardless of gender or age, can seek free support on the "Aurora" website https://avrora-help.org.ua.
The Aurora online platform is a joint initiative of UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, and the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy, supported by the Government of the United Kingdom and the UN Action against Sexual Violence in Conflict.
