We promote gender equality and empower women, girls and young people to take control of their bodies and their futures. We work with partners in more than 150 countries to provide access to a wide range of sexual and reproductive health services, with the goal of ending unmet need for family planning, preventable maternal death and gender-based violence and harmful practices including child marriage female genital mutilation by 2030.

Виконувачка обов’язків Представника UNFPA в Україні

У серпні 2023 року Улла Мюллер обійняла посаду Директорки Представництва UNFPA в країнах Північної Європи. До цього призначення Улла три з половиною роки працювала Представницею UNFPA у Нігерії, де вона успішно позиціонувала UNFPA як ключового партнера федеральних і державних органів влади, міжнародної спільноти, громадянського суспільства та наукового колу. Крім того, вона взяла на себе роль координаторки з питань COVID-19 системи ООН у Нігерії. До роботи в Нігеріі, працювала Координаторкою гуманітарної допомоги та розвитку в Ефіопії, де створила потужну команду з гуманітарного реагування. Улла була президенткою і генеральною директоркою компанії Engender Health і регіональною директоркою MSI Reproductive Choices для країн Східної та Південної Африки. Протягом 30 років Улла займається питаннями гуманітарної допомоги, раннього відновлення та розвитку, а також виступає за гендерну рівність та права жінок і дівчат.
