Kremenchuk, November 10, 2018 - The second Skills Lab program for young people to develop skills in the areas of successful professional self-fulfillment and self-employment has been completed. The program is implemented by the CSR Development Center and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

The Skills Lab special program is created by specialists to develop and improve the skills necessary for young people in two areas: own business and a successful career. Participants of the two topical groups received soft skills training and workshops from signatories of the Pact for Youth: Lifecell, Danone, UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, and local employers, including Rock Kava coffee outlet. To successfully complete the program, participants presented their own projects that they have developed during the participation in #SkillsLab in the conference hall of the Kremenchuk City Council Executive Committee. The "successful career" area envisaged social projects for the city and the community, and "own business" included business projects for self-employment.

At the closing of the training program, Olha Usanova, Deputy of the Kremenchuk City Mayor, delivered a congratulating speech. Olha Petrivna encouraged young people to move forward and make their intentions come true, and also emphasized the importance of non-formal education under the #SkillsLab program. The Career Hub youth project manager, CSR Development Center Anna Aranzhiy, congratulated all the participants on behalf of organizers: "Our goal is to provide you with practical tools and skills to start your own business or develop a career. And this is confirmed by your ideas, reflected in social and business projects for the city".

All participants who successfully defended their projects and completed the program, emphasized that such projects are extremely important for Kremenchuk youth, as they complement academic education with the practical skills essential for the development of their careers and the creation of their own business.
